No internet access is rough. When I moved to Boston for the summer, maybe 7 years ago, I didn't have it in my apt right away (nor a phone), so I took the train across the Charles to MIT to use their library. I remember the first time I did that, because it was pouring like mad, but I needed to check my email.

Sometimes I'm a sponge and use a nearby cafe's wireless network, without actually going to their cafe or buying their coffee.
So when are you getting internet at your apt? I can't imagine you in a place without access to your email =)
